Perspective from Japan on whaling and whale meat, a spot of gourmet news, and monthly updates of whale meat stockpile statistics

Chris Carter on Iceland's whaling resumption

According to New Zealand Conservation Minister and IWC delegate, Hon. Chris Carter:
"The Icelanders have been a bit duplicitous, to be honest ... the bottom line is you can't join up to a club if you're not prepared to obey the rules"
The full audio interview can be found here.

So tell us again Chris, how did all the anti-whaling nations that have no intention of ever acting in accordance with the object and purpose of the ICRW manage to join?

Hey Y/H-san!

Aren't Sea Shepherd and Greenpeace both pathetic?

By the way, have you seen this article at the ICR homepage?

It's very good reading. A pity that it's not available in English, but I think I can translate some of the best bits and post them here on my blog later.

David-san,

Thank you for the info of ICR
article. As you say,it's very good reading.

Mr.Ishikawa showed what the crazy groups did in detail, and I found what they did was very dangerous.

I think we have to let many people
know the facts!

"In fact, Greenpeace has raised a mind-boggling hundreds of millions of dollars pretending to save whales over the years and yet they have not stopped the Japanese from killing a single whale."

So the Sea Schleppers are pissed off because the Greenwashers are using whaling hype to bilk concerned citizens of their guilt money.

Erm...isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black?
